Clients expect us to come now with an answer, not just a report. But we were still spending a lot of time pulling that report together. We wanted to flip that and give consultants the time back to understand what was driving performance and come to clients with a clear recommendation. Rose, Lead Paid @ Growth Room

Growth Room at a glance

Growth Room is a Paris-based growth marketing agency helping B2B and B2C companies accelerate acquisition through paid media, SEO, outbound and CRM. Its teams combine channel expertise, tracking and performance analysis to design and run growth strategies for clients including Devialet, IonQ and Ecla.

Growth Room's model is built around specialist expertise and a high level of strategic support. Consultants are expected not only to operate campaigns, but to understand what drives performance and turn that analysis into clear recommendations. That makes faster, more actionable reporting a critical part of the agency's client delivery.

Challenge: Reporting production was taking time away from interpretation

Client expectations around reporting have changed. They want faster answers, more detail and, above all, more interpretation behind the numbers. Reporting is no longer just about showing what happened; teams are expected to explain why performance moved, identify opportunities and recommend what to do next.

The challenge is that much of the reporting workflow is still built around manual production: extracting data, consolidating sources, refreshing charts, validating figures and assembling recurring reports. That leaves consultants spending too much time preparing the information and not enough time interpreting it.

Every hour spent producing the report is an hour that cannot be spent understanding performance, challenging the strategy or helping the client decide what to do next.

Clients don’t need us to spend hours updating charts. They need us to tell them what changed, why it matters and what we think they should do next.

Solution: Automating the reporting workflow to surface what matters

Massive Dynamic works on two fronts. It takes routine execution off the team, and it does the first pass of analysis so consultants start from findings rather than from raw exports.

Health checks handled directly in Slack

Daily checks run across every platform and surface directly in Slack, where the team already works: spend and budget pacing, campaign delivery, tracking and data integrity, paused or rejected campaigns, unexpected status changes. Consultants no longer open each account to confirm that setup and delivery are behaving as expected.

The effect is one of timing. Execution issues that used to be discovered at the next reporting cycle are raised the same day, while they are still cheap to fix.

"We used to check every campaign by hand. Now the issues come to us, early enough to fix them before they cost the client anything."

Analysis turned into findings

Beyond checking that accounts run correctly, Massive Dynamic reads performance data continuously and points consultants to what deserves a closer look: KPI anomalies, creative or audience fatigue, emerging trends, budget opportunities. Granular data carries more insight but also more noise, and the field gets narrowed before anyone starts digging.

On a large hospitality advertiser account, the first layer of analysis is already done when the consultant opens the report, so the discussion starts at seasonality effects and benchmark choice. On a global retail advertiser account, weekly SEA reporting tiers markets and flags CPC anomalies, leaving the team to work on what to recommend for the weakest ones.

“Instead of spending the first part of the reporting process asking “Where should I look?”, teams can spend more time answering “What is driving this, what does it mean, and what should we recommend?””

Client reporting assembled for review

Massive Dynamic brings the reporting workflow into one place. Performance data, screenshots, recommendations and recurring slide updates are pulled together automatically, removing the manual work of assembling each step across multiple tools.

The output is already close to client-ready when it reaches the consultant. Rather than spending time building and checking the report, the consultants can focus on interpreting what changed, sharpening the recommendations and deciding what the client should do next.

“Producing a weekly report used to take around two hours. With Massive Dynamic, it takes five minutes. That gives the consultant almost the entire reporting cycle back to analyse performance, understand what is driving it and prepare the recommendations that actually matter to the client.”

Results: More time for analysis, faster decisions for clients

The result is not simply faster reporting. It is a different reporting model: agents handle data collection, monitoring and production, while consultants focus on judgement, context and recommendations. For clients, that means earlier interventions, deeper analysis and more conversations centred on what to do next to improve performance.

  • 95% reduction in weekly report production time, from 2 hours to 5 minutes

  • 2x faster reaction time to performance issues and optimisation opportunities

“The biggest change isn’t just that reporting takes less time. It’s that consultants can spend much more of that time understanding what the numbers mean and what the client should do next.”
